These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of connorctrealestate.com and candlewoodlakeagent.com ("the sites") and your communications with Connor Kostyra, a licensed Connecticut real estate salesperson (License #RES.0836348) doing business as Connor CT Homes and affiliated with RE/MAX Rise (1297 Main Street, Watertown, CT 06795), including by phone and SMS text message. By using the sites or texting our business number, you agree to these Terms.
1. SMS / Text-Messaging Program Terms
Program name: Connor CT Homes Real Estate Updates & Inquiry Follow-Up.
Program description: Conversational, 1-to-1 text messaging about your real estate inquiry: answers to your questions, appointment and showing coordination, requested market or home-value information, and follow-up from Connor Kostyra of RE/MAX Rise. Replies may be handled by Ava, our AI assistant, on Connor's behalf. This is not a bulk-marketing or promotional mass-texting program.
How you opt in: (a) by texting our business number first, which starts a conversation; or (b) by providing your phone number and checking the consent box on one of our website forms; or (c) by verbally requesting text follow-up during a phone call with our office or our AI assistant. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any property, good, or service.
Message frequency varies based on your conversation and inquiry. Message and data rates may apply — check with your mobile carrier.
Opt out at any time: reply STOP to end texts (you may receive one final confirmation message). Reply HELP for help. You can also opt out by emailing connor@connorcthomes.com or calling 203-297-8084.
Privacy: our handling of your information is described in our Privacy Policy. Mobile opt-in data and SMS consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes, and we do not sell your personal information.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. The program is intended for U.S. mobile numbers and users 18 years of age or older.
2. Informational use only — no professional advice
Content on the sites and in our messages is general information about Connecticut real estate, not legal, tax, financial, mortgage, appraisal, or contract advice. Nothing here creates an agency or representation relationship; brokerage services are provided through RE/MAX Rise under a written agreement. Market information is deemed reliable but not guaranteed and should be independently verified.
3. AI assistant disclosure
Calls and texts to our business lines may be answered by Ava, an AI assistant, to make sure you get a fast response and nothing is missed. Ava identifies herself as an AI assistant, can collect your information and answer general questions, and hands anything substantive to Connor. Calls may be recorded and transcribed so Connor can follow up accurately.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the sites or messaging lines: no unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive use; no harvesting data; no interfering with site operation; no submitting another person's information without their consent.
5. Intellectual property
Site content, branding, photography, and text are owned by Connor CT Homes LLC or used with permission, and may not be reproduced commercially without written consent. RE/MAX marks belong to RE/MAX, LLC. Each RE/MAX office is independently owned and operated.
6. Fair Housing
We do business in accordance with the Federal Fair Housing Act and the Connecticut Fair Housing Law (Conn. Gen. Stat. § 46a-64c). Equal Housing Opportunity.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The sites and messaging programs are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Connor Kostyra and Connor CT Homes LLC are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the sites or messaging programs.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will change when we do. Continued use of the sites or messaging programs after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
